I'm still alive

Hey there,

I just realized that I hadn't posted an update in forever. And when I say forever I mean for almost a year. So I figured I'd come around and give you all an update. I honestly can't give you a reason as to why I haven't been updating; maybe I just lost interest in writing for a while, but I'm back, and hopefully for good this time. That is if I can remember to update on a daily basis.

Tomorrow is the start of the 2011-2012 NHL season. You have no idea how excited I am right now. I feel like it's been way too long since the final Stanley Cup game was played. I felt a huge sense of disappointment when the Canucks didn't win the cup last year, cause they played really well last season, and during the playoffs as well. I'm not too sure what happened in the final games for the cup, but the team wasn't able to raise the cup up for another year. I have to say congrats to the Boston Bruins on their win, but I'm still not a fan of the team. Tim Thomas was an amazing goalie throughout the whole series with the Canucks. He made sure he always brought his A-game every night and that for sure helped the Bruins win the cup. Thomas had a great season that he won the Conn Smythe Trophy for Most Valuable Player.

Now that I've boasted about the teams in the Stanley Cup finals, it's time to move back to my all time favourite teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs (they will never lose me as a fan, no matter how bad of a season they have) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (started to like them cause of a few of my favourite players, but I have grown to love them over the years).

From the day I started to watch hockey, the Toronto Maple Leafs have always been the team I've been rooting for. I can tell you now and forever I will never give up on them no matter what. They can never make it into the playoff rounds and I will still love them. There are people in this city who say they are true Leaf's fan, but the second their season starts to go downhill, they jump onto the bandwagon of another team. And when they don't qualify into the playoffs they start talking shit about how bad they are. Well listen up you "true" Leaf's fan, you can SUCK IT!! You should be embarrassed to call yourself Leaf fans. And the other thing that gets on my nerves are the "true" Leafs fans who jump onto the Montreal Canadien's bandwagon. I don't even have words to describe how mad it makes me when I hear people supporting the Habs. They are our enemy people, OUR ENEMY!!

I'm gonna cross my fingers and toes tomorrow hoping the Leafs will kick off their season opener against the Montreal Canadien's with a win and for a good season that will finally lead them into the playoff rounds. They haven't made it into the playoff rounds since 2006. It seems like the 2004-2005 lockout has cast a curse on the team. Let's just hope the curse can be broken this year. I don't want to have to put my jersey away in April.

GO LEAFS GO!
